Meditation Class

Kristin  is teaching weekly meditation classes at the YMCA .

Use movement, stillness, breath, visualization and sound to help calm, heal and balance body, mind and spirit. These simple yet powerful meditation, relaxation and breathing techniques can be done seated, standing or lying down.  No experience necessary. All levels welcome.

 Meditation Specialty Training II
A one day ACE approved continuing education course eligible for .7 CEC's.

Learn three moving meditations, breathing techniques and a guided meditation with healing sounds. These simple yet powerful healing tools can help reduce stress and bring balance to body, mind and spirit. This course will include instruction, practice and practice teaching.

Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers: This workshop is eligible for .7 CEC's from the American Council on Exercise.

Standard fee is $95 with a reduced fee of $75 for YMCA fitness professionals and staff.

Yoga Clinic - Body, Breath and Movement - Two Part Series

This class taught by Scott Masterton will explore yoga, breath and movement. Class #1 will focus on learning yoga postures and their physiological and emotional effects as you begin to learn to synchronize breath and movement. Class #2 will emphasize flow and linking movement and breath to create a personal practice most beneficial to your personal goals and needs.

This class is designed for those new to yoga, however all levels of experience are welcome to participate.
