I used to wonder, "Who am I if I am not my actions?" And for a long time I wanted to tell people, "I am not what I do!" I wanted them to look deeper, to see the me beneath the things I did or did not do. Who was I fooling. It wasn't them who I needed to have see me. It was me. I was the one who needed to see.
